Victim Assist QLD – Free Counselling for Victims of Crime
Logic Lounge provides trauma counselling through the Victim Assist Queensland (VAQ) scheme. We support clients affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, physical abuse, and other violent crime across Queensland.
Sessions are delivered via telehealth for convenient access across Brisbane, the Gold Coast, regional and remote Queensland.
What Is Victim Assist QLD?
Victim Assist Queensland offers financial support to people affected by violent crime. You may be eligible for funding to cover:
- Psychological counselling
- Ongoing trauma support
- Related recovery expenses
You don’t need a court outcome, but the incident should be reported to the police or a support agency.
Who Can Access Counselling?
- Victims of physical assault, abuse, or sexual violence
- Family members or witnesses to violent crime
- Anyone affected by a violent crime that occurred in Queensland
